A nationwide telephone helpline of the Legal Aid Coordination Centre for Ukrainian citizens has been launched: +48 800 088 544

The National Bar Council of Attorneys – at – Law, in cooperation with Polish bar associations and lawyers’ organizations, launched a free of charge telephone hotline (+48 800 088 544) for people injured by the war in Ukraine. The helpline of the Legal Aid Coordination Center operates from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Consultants provide information about the scope of assistance and the locations and hours of operation of the free legal aid points. Information can be obtained in several languages, including Polish, Ukrainian and English.

The Legal Aid Coordination Center was established to support those coordinating legal assistance in our country, but also to provide pro bono legal assistance in Poland to those affected by the war in Ukraine. Assistance is provided via a hotline and in legal aid centers located throughout the country. Support in solving legal problems is provided by volunteer experts – attorneys-at-law, representatives of all legal professions and legal associations and NGO lawyers in cooperation with Ukrainian lawyers and translators.

All lawyers and individuals who can help translate the information and documents provided are welcome to cooperate with the Center. The application form is available on the website.
